As far as fluoride being found "naturally" in some foods..... It's a "which came first, the chicken or the egg" type of question. Did the food actually produce the mineral? Or is the mineral in the food due to unnatural exposure in the environment?

At any rate. I'm glad you and your children's teeth are healthy, so are mine. We can agree to disagree but I have yet to see any studies or proof that fluoride IS anything more than a poison. When debating a topic, personal opinion means little, one has to back it up with fact.Just a smalltown girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04562245873939567556noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2339303059074627867.post-72449991621214991152007-09-26T18:10:00.000-05:002007-09-26T18:10:00.000-05:00Kat this is one area i will totally and always dis...Kat this is one area i will totally and always disagree with you on.

I grew up drinking water with fluoride in it. i have to date had two small fillings in my teeth.

My eldest two children started in an area with flouride, as did keely my third child, but when she was 18 months of age or so, we moved to an area where the water doesnt contain fluoride.

To date keely has had 6 fillings on her teeth, and my elder children none. my youngest son Declan required fillings at 3 years of age, even though his primary drink was breast milk and he ate really healthy.

His front tooth is chipped from tooth decay and keelys were so badly decayed (the baby teeth) that the dentist originally marked them to be extracted.

Keely does not have a high sugar diet. in fact the demon orignal school dentist i took her told me the condition of keelys teeth was "disgusting" she then proceeded to interogate on keelys eating habbits, when she couldnt find anything to reason out why keely had bad teeth, she sent up home with a referal to the local school dentist and no "sorry".

Fluoride is found in some foods naturally. i think its a case of how much u should or shouldnt ingest, rather than a total ban of fluoride.

Also a comparative study done in my local area, where one water supply has fluoride and the other doesnt.

The children without fluoride showed 4 times the number of cavities and tooth decay, compared to the children who drank the water with fluoride.

They were talking about kids as young as 4 needing to be hospitalized, and have anthesiesa to have rotten teeth extracted.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
