Is that safe for him in that position? I had mine checked by the police and they said it was not safe to have his feeting sticking that far out of the chair. If I was in an accident, then his legs would definitely get broken.
Much safer actually. The American Academy of pediatrics has recently changed their recommendation from 1 year and 20 lbs to at LEAST 1 year and 20 lbs, and as long as the seat will allow.
Rather a couple broken legs than a broken neck or back!
One day, while walking on the beach my 4 year old approached me and handed me a rock. "mommy, can you put this rock in your purse"? He asked. "No son," I said "rocks don't go in purses". "But mom!" He protested. "It's a miracle! And miracles can go in purses!". And he's right. Miracles can be found anywhere they please. My life is crazy and chaotic, and I've dealt with more heartache than most could bear, but I continue to find miracles in the strangest of places. Like the rock I carry in my purse.
This blog is my life, in print. The good, the bad, the ugly and the beauty of raising 6 kids and holding on to what's left of my sanity in the process.

yes very safe. some think there is a risk of a broken leg but that wouldn't be as a bad as a broken neck or back
